We use only first-year Mullein plant roots to ensure the highest potency.  The root is weaker in the second year due to producing the stalk. We also use Multiflora and Biflora Solomon’s Seal roots. These three roots, in equal measure are tinctured in oil for 3 months, then blended in Ninja food grinder, then added back to the oil for a month. The roots are vigorously strained out of the oil to make the salve. Flattop Mountain Herbs Spine & Joint Salve is made with root oil, organic white bee’s wax, shea butter and coconut oil.

The anti-inflammatory properties are useful in reducing joint and spinal pain.

Apply the salve liberally, directly on the spine/joint area in which you are experiencing pain. You can use the product 3 or 4 times a day.

We have learned from some of our customers that pairing the salve along with the Spine & Joint tincture (separate product) provides more pain relief.
