Mullein & Peppermint Tea

Preparation

  • Brewing the Tea

Water ratio: Use about 1 cup of water per 1–2 teaspoons of fresh mullein leaves

Brew: Heat water until it comes to 186 degrees in an electric kettle . Steep 2-4 teaspoons of loose tea—or tea ball or diffuser or tea bag, in a covered mug of hot water for 10-15 minutes. (longer steeping increases flavor)

Pour the tea through the metal fine mesh strainer. This removes the tiny plant hairs that can irritate the throat.

Enjoy: Drink it steaming hot to open the airways, or pour it over ice for a crisp, lung-loving refresher.

How it Works

Before the modern pharmacy, there was Mullein. Long before antibiotics, doctors and healers turned to this "velvet plant" to treat everything from whooping cough to pneumonia.

Today, the Cleveland Clinic still recognizes its ability to ease respiratory ailments and calm lung inflammation.

If you're battling persistent allergies, a sore throat, or tonsillitis, a single mug of 100% Organic Mullein Tea delivers a powerhouse of anti-inflammatory relief. It’s time to rediscover the remedy that has stood the test of time.

Mullein is a celebrated expectorant, meaning it helps the body thin and clear excess mucus from the lungs and throat. It is also rich in mucilage, a soothing sugar that forms a protective layer over irritated membranes. Each cup does more than hydrate; it delivers nature's most effective "deep clean" straight to your respiratory system. It’s a gentle, caffeine-free way to clear congestion and finally take that full, deep breath you've been missing.
