Cough Syrup

Ingredients

Preparation

Glycerin Tincturing: Chop 2 ounces of dried mullein leaves and place in a quart jar. Cover with 10 ounces of food grade glycerin and 4 ounces of distilled water.

Close the jar in a cool/dark place for 4-8 weeks or longer. Shake every other day. Strain the mixture into a clean and sanitized quart jar.

The Base Blend: In a glass bowl, combine the Honey, Molasses, Cherry syrup, Ginger syrup, and Mullein glycerin. Stir gently until uniform.

The Sweetener: Add the coconut palm or brown sugar and whisk until fully dissolved into the thick base.

The Essential Finish: Add the Lemon and Peppermint essential oils and the vanilla. Stir thoroughly so the oils distribute evenly through the syrup.

The Bottling: Using a small funnel pour the syrup into small 2 oz or 4 oz amber glass bottles. Amber or cobalt glass protects the oils from light. Cap tightly and label with the date

How it Works

Forget the medicinal aftertaste of the grocery store aisle. We’ve blended the dark richness of Molasses and Honey with the brightness of Fabbri Cherries and Ginger into a syrup that tastes like a treat but works like a mountain remedy — built to coat, calm, and clear your airways.

Glycerin-Tinctured Mullein: Provides core respiratory support to soothe the lungs and thin out stubborn mucus without the use of alcohol.

The "Clear & Calm" Duo: Lemon and Peppermint Essential Oils provide a dual-action cooling effect, helping to open airways and refresh the throat.

The Rich Base (Honey & Molasses): A "slow-slide" texture coats the throat better than thin, water-based syrups. Honey is a renowned natural cough suppressant.

Fabbri Cherry & Ginger: The cherry syrup adds a rich fruit profile while ginger syrup brings warming, anti-inflammatory relief to settle the chest and stomach.

Warning: This product contains Honey and should not be given to infants under one year. Our ingredients are organic and food-grade; consult your healthcare provider if you have underlying conditions.
